The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have issued a statement over two Nigerian artistes Naira Marley and Zlatan Ibile and others who were arrested last Friday.
The anti-graft agency raided 9 Gbangbola street, Ikate, Lekki, Lagos, where some items including laptops were seized from the suspects.
Following rumours that the artistes who were arrested by the EFCC have been released, the commission’s spokesman Tony Orilade has responded to the claims.
He revealed to Punch Newspaper that Naira Marley, Zlatan, Rahman Jago and others are still in custody. “They are still with us. When they are released, I will let you know”, he said.
Recently the ‘Japa’ crooner Naira Marley said he has been arrested 124 times in England.
