Nigerian singer Naira Marley is still being held up in custody by the EFCC even after being granted bail by the court.
On May 30, Naira Marley was granted bail by Justice Nicholas Oweibo at the Federal High Court, Lagos.
A N2 million bail was imposed on the ‘Issac Goal’ crooner from two sureties. It’s been a week since the court officially granted him bail but the singer has not been released by the EFCC because he failed to meet the bail conditions.
Going by a tweet from a Twitter user @Mayorwiz5, ‘Naira Marley can’t get a level 10 officer to stand for him as surety’.
It follows that there is yet to be any level 10 Lagos state civil servant or above willing to stand as surety for the embattled Nigerian artiste.
