Teni the entertainer is certainly one of the hottest music stars in the past year and she is still waxing strong. In a new chat with Sunday Scoop Teni reveals the role her father’s death play in the making of her hit song “Wait”.
“Wait tells the love story between my mum and dad. I got the inspiration when my dad passed and my mum was crying, wishing he could have stayed back.”
The Dr Dolor Entertainment artiste again gave the inspiration about her tune “Uyo Meyo”. According to her it took her seven years to get her first degree while her sisters had all graduated filled with joy she made the song.
“I recorded Uyo Meyo for my graduation ceremony because it took me seven years to graduate. My sisters graduated before me; so, it was a big deal for me on the day I graduated. I did the song for myself and everyone who hopes to achieve something.”
