It’s been a long week for Nigerian singer Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael better known as Zlatan as he was arrested and kept in the custody of the EFCC.
After about 4 days spent in the EFCC detention facility, the rapper was released with his other friends while Naira Marley remains in custody.
While he was arrested the anti-graft agency seized his possessions to help in conducting their investigation. Speaking to Sunday Scoop, a member of Zlatan’s team has revealed the EFCC have relinquish his car and other belongings to him.
“We all know that he was detained for investigations and he has been set free. When he was freshly released, his phone and car were not returned to him. However, he has now collected all his possessions in the custody of the EFCC. Three people were released out of the four persons arrested; Marley has been charged to court. Zlatan is okay now and people should expect more music from him.”
The insider further cleared the notion that Davido helped with the rapper’s release.
“Davido was not involved in Zlatan’s release. As we speak, he is not in the country – he is in the United States of America.”
